Your documents, explained
How to write each document, the honest way
Everything you need to do this yourself is right here, for free. You don't need an agency. Read the guidance, then run a free self-check on your draft.
Motivation letter (SOP)
- ›Open with why this exact course, naming real modules or professors. Skip the grand life-philosophy intro.
- ›Tell one true story about how you got into this field. Specific beats impressive.
- ›Connect your background to the program, then to what you want to do after.
- ›Keep it to about 400 to 800 words, one page. Plain language, your own voice.
CV / résumé (German style)
- ›One to two pages, reverse chronological (most recent first).
- ›Clear sections: education, experience, skills, projects, languages (with levels).
- ›Facts over adjectives. Use numbers where you can.
- ›A simple photo and your details at the top are normal in Germany, but never required.
Letter of recommendation
- ›Ask a professor or manager who actually knows your work.
- ›Give them your CV and a short note on what the program wants, so they can be specific.
- ›It should cover how they know you, with one or two concrete examples.
- ›On official letterhead, signed, with their contact details.
APS & document set
- ›Gather transcripts, degree/provisional certificate, class 10 and 12 marksheets, and your passport.
- ›Get attested copies where asked. Keep clean scans of everything before you send originals.
- ›Start APS early; it takes weeks and most things depend on it.
- ›Make a single checklist and tick it twice before any submission.
More on writing the letter, and how to use AI for grammar without letting it write for you, is in this guide.

Paste your motivation letter. This runs on your device and flags AI-sounding writing, weak specifics, length and flow. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Still have a question?
You can do all of this on your own with the guidance above. If you would still like another pair of eyes, a student who got into your field can read your draft and reply. That is an optional service, only if you want the extra hand.
